A Weird Obsession

Obsessions are thoughts, urges, or images that may or may not cause anxiety or distress most people. An individual tries to ignore them, suppress them, or neutralise them with a different thought or action. In our society Obsession is considered as a word giving negative vibes. Yes, Obsessions can be negative or positive it depends how it affects your life But If you can’t put an obsession in any of these columns then I guess it becomes a weird obsession, you can’t tell if it is good or bad for you. It might be positive for you but could appear negative to the world.

People who are obsessed with skulls are often called cranomaniac or skull-obsessed. The human skull instinctively reminds us that we will die one day or another; it is a truth we all know. Some find beauty in death that others only see in life. They find themselves fascinated by skulls while for others it symbolises danger, hostility and the unachievable nature of immortality, which human skulls can convey in a very natural way. What death is, and how it fascinates, is very much subjective. It’s also universal, we’ll all die, we’ll all think about it but we never tried to explore that section as it is not considered to be healthy to think about such complex and displeasing topic. Now after reading this much most of you will consider the person to be a Satanist or a member of the Illuminati society. But the reality is that he is not .

Some people are so captivated by skulls that they make sure they have them everywhere in their lives. Whether it's surrounding themselves with decorative objects, clothing style, or tattoos. It is possible to hang large skull wall paintings in the living room, carpets with skull pattern according to taste, skull mugs in the kitchen, skull shaped objects or figurines on the tables and small furniture. Seeing such kind of things in a house is not considered healthy according to the society but you can’t blame or judge that person over these things as he just has a weird obsession of such things.
